Most people who find their way here have been managing on their own for a long time.

You are still going to work. You are still showing up for the people who need you. And somewhere along the way you stopped feeling like yourself, slowly enough that you cannot point to the day it started.

That is worth taking seriously now, not once it gets worse.

What I Work With

The things that brought you here

You do not need a diagnosis to book. You just need to know that something has not felt right, and that you would like someone to help you understand it.

01

Depression and burnout

The exhaustion that sleep does not fix. Losing interest in things you used to love. Waking up with a weight on your chest and no clear reason for it.

02

Anxiety and panic

A mind that will not switch off at night. Racing thoughts, a body that stays braced for something, and panic that arrives without warning.

03

ADHD and executive function

Trouble starting things you genuinely care about. Brain fog. The strategies that carried you for years, quietly stopping.

04

PTSD and trauma

Feeling on guard when nothing is wrong. Startling easily. Memories that arrive uninvited, and nights that do not feel safe.

05

Bipolar I and II

Mood that swings further than it should. Stretches of needing very little sleep and feeling wired, followed by a long drop.

06

Insomnia and emotional regulation

Chronic trouble sleeping. Reactions that feel bigger than the moment that caused them, and the shame that tends to follow.

A Space Where You Belong

Care that sees the whole you

I built this practice for people who have felt unseen in clinical rooms. The ones who were talked past, or handled quickly, or quietly decided it was easier to stop explaining.

Your culture, your family, your history, and the parts of your life that never fit neatly on an intake form are not background noise. They are part of the clinical picture, and I treat them that way.

You should not have to translate yourself to get good care.

How Care Works

Three steps, no surprises

First

A free consult

Optional fifteen minute call to determine if we are the right fit for each other.

Then

A full evaluation

Sixty minutes. We go through your history, your sleep, your mood, what you have already tried, and what your goals are for treatment. You leave with a clearer understanding.

Ongoing

Care that adjusts

Follow-up visits at a pace that fits you, with a plan we revisit as things change. If medication is part of it, you will know what it is for, what to watch for, and how to stop if you want to.

Your Clinician

Jessica Ogunye, PMHNP-BC

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Before I opened this practice I spent years in pediatric intensive care and bone marrow transplant oncology, and then as a lead nurse building the nursing protocol for autoimmune encephalitis, a condition that looks like a psychiatric illness until you know what to look for.

That is the part of my training I use most. I learned to work where the presentation is complicated and the obvious answer is usually wrong, which is often exactly the situation people are in when they find me.

For Referring Clinicians

A prescriber who answers

If you are a therapist or counselor looking for medication management for a client, I have evaluation availability across all four states. With a signed release you get a note after the evaluation and after any meaningful medication change, and if you reach out about a shared client you hear back the same day.
